Trainee Patent Attorney

Anathe Patschull is dedicated, providing high-quality patent work and successful IP strategies to enable her clients’ commercial success.

Anathe started her intellectual property career in 2014 acquiring a Master degree in Management of Intellectual Property, a PG Certificate in IP Law and writing her dissertation on the interplay between health economics, patent law and marketing authorization of orphan drugs.

Thereafter, she worked at the EPO on the harmonization of European and International patent law and at the UK IPO as a patent examiner in the fields of food technology, feed technology, medical devices, biotechnology, and pharmaceuticals.

Previous to her career in IP, she worked in IT marketing and acquired a PhD in Biophysics, Bioinformatics and Biochemistry, publishing 5 papers on computational drug discovery methods and on the first viral protein-miRNA X-ray structure.

Through her diverse professional experience in different jurisdictions and different technical fields, she is well versed in diplomatic and constructive approaches combining science, business and law to make the most of her clients’ IP.

Since 2018, Anathe is working as a patent attorney in training at IPecunia Patents B.V., where she has been advising clients on patent applications in the fields of polymer chemistry, biotechnology, agritechnology, feed technology, food technology, and related mechanical inventions.
