dr. ir. Mark Kramer

Dutch Patent Attorney

Mark Kramer is a Dutch patent attorney (2014) who has been assisting customers with great dedication to contribute to their commercial success through the protection of their intellectual property.

Since March 2017, Mark has been working with IPecunia Patents B.V. in Sittard, The Netherlands. He is dealing with patent applications and patents for inventions in the fields of Electrical Engineering, Physics and Mechanics.Mark has extensive experience in drafting patent applications, conducting national and international grant procedures and litigation for international companies, SME companies and start-up companies.

In 2006, Mark obtained a Ph.D. degree from the Eindhoven University of Technology in the field of semiconductor device physics and process technology, in particular for research on gallium nitride-based microwave high-power transistors. In 2000, he obtained his M.Sc. degree (cum laude) in Electrical Engineering from the same university.

After obtaining his Ph.D. degree, Mark worked with Philips Research and NXP Semiconductors Research. He worked in the fields of silicon and BiCMOS technology, in particular on ultra high-speed bipolar transistors for RF applications, and silicon-based optoelectronics.

In 2009 he made the switch to the private patent practice.
